Total Annual Savings:
Advanced Energy Technologies
A strategy will be developed in 2020 for implementing advanced energy technologies including fuel cells, renewable energy and battery storage across high-priority sites in Sharp’s building portfolio. The goal is to outline recommended applications for each technology (or group of technologies) to optimize for cost savings, site impacts, greenhouse gas emissions and business continuity. For critical MOBs, backup power requirements will be developed based on critical load characterization, and this information will be used to generate a custom request for proposal (RFP) to solicit standardized proposals from fuel cell, solar and battery storage installers. The cost to develop a strategy for Advanced Energy Technologies is $150,000 and installation cost, savings potential and IRR will be calculated in 2020.
